Apple M5 chip boosts performance, skips Pro, Max

The new M5 chipset from Apple brings significant improvements over the M4, despite keeping a 10-core CPU and GPU. The CPU has six performance and four efficiency cores, offering up to 15 percent better multi-threaded performance. The M5 also provides a 30 percent boost in graphics and four times the compute power thanks to the Neural Accelerators in both the CPU and GPU. Ubisoft Massive Entertainment announced a voluntary career transition program following internal restructuring at the Swedish studio.
