Delta State House of Assembly Speaker Dennis Guwor praised the Security Trust Fund as a strategic measure to enhance regional safety operations. The legislative body will maintain oversight to guarantee transparent fund management after Governor Sheriff Oborevwori launched the program on Monday. Guwor urged businesses and citizens to contribute toward collective protection efforts, and cited a N10 billion pledge from Tantita Security Services Chairman, Government Ekpemupolo. Assembly members passed legislation creating the fund to supplement government security investments, and lawmakers will monitor implementation to ensure agencies receive adequate support for threat response capabilities.
