ASUS released beta BIOS firmware version 1.2.7.0 featuring AGESA support for upcoming AMD Ryzen processors with integrated graphics. The update targets AM5 800-series motherboards and prepares systems for compatibility with processors expected to use Strix or Krackan architecture. The firmware includes enhanced performance optimizations, but remains in the testing phase while official versions continue using AGESA 1.2.0.3g.
The anticipated processors will succeed the Ryzen 8000G lineup with Zen 5 cores, RDNA 3.5 graphics, and neural processing units delivering between 50 tops and 55 tops. Beta downloads cover X870 and B850 chipset models from ROG Crosshair, ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, and ProArt product lines. AMD motherboard partners previously introduced preliminary support through earlier firmware releases.
