On Thursday, Donald Trump said that families with fertility problems will pay less for in vitro fertilization. He spoke from the White House and said that employers can offer IVF coverage as part of health plans.
Trump also shared a deal with EMD Serono, a company that makes fertility medicine. The company will sell drugs at much lower prices, offering an 84% discount in the U.S.
Libby Horne from EMD Serono agreed to the deal. She said the company will give discounts on IVF medicines for all Americans.
Some people supported the plan, but others were unsure about the timing, with elections coming soon.
