The studio will halt regular updates for Hyper Light Breaker for the rest of 2025, aiming to deliver a final update in January 2026. This last release is intended to complete key systems and offer a polished experience, though it will not be the full version originally planned. The decision results from funding challenges and industry pressures, but the team working on the upcoming game Possessor(s), set to launch on November 11, 2025, remains unaffected by the layoffs.
